Tatyana Harris Delcastle sprinter Tatyana Harris is this week's WDEL Female High School Athlete of the Week.
The sophomore ran the anchor leg of the Cougars' state championship winning 4x200meter relay team at the recent state indoor meet.
Harris says the big crowd brought out her top performance, and some butterflies.
"You get really at your meet, but you try to work hard and do your best because you have a big audience. You want to impress people and do a good job."
Tatyana moved from Upper Darby to run at Delcastle this year, and says there's a great atmosphere around the team.
"Track's always been good at Delcastle, it's why I moved here and came to this school. It shows that we have a good coach, and we're good at what we do."
In terms of a track role model, Tatyana looks up to a US Olympian who won gold in a relay in Beijing.
"Sanya Richards, her 400. I like watching her run, I want to be like that when I get older."
The sprinter says her toughest workouts come when she stretches out beyond her usual one lap of the track.
"600s. It's hard because I hate running distance. It's tough because you have to be strong to do it and have a lot of stamina."
