World Series...late night TV

Major League Baseball learned a little bit about what it was doing wrong in last year's World Series...games that started close to 8:30 will now start at 7:57 this year. That's a start.

But with the average post-season game going closer to 4 hours than 3 hours...and some even longer...you can be guaranteed that kids won't be watching the end of the games...and many working people won't be either.

I understand that TV runs the show...but it shouldn't. It's time to tell Fox that games should start no later than 7:30, with their pre-game show starting at 7...That way, there is a chance that some games might actually finish at 11pm. It's time to make the games more fan-friendly. Enough of the late starts times, made later by the extra commercials. Change the times.
