Senator Coons attending meetings with African leaders

Delaware's Senator Chris Coons - in his capacity as the chair of the Senate Foreign Relations' Subcommittee on African Affairs - has played a key role as African leaders visit Washington.

As NATIONAL JOURNAL notes, the African summit represents a relatively rare moment of bipartisanship on Capitol Hill, at least among the senators attending (although some controversy has marked hosting African presidents leading increasingly authoritarian governments at home)...

Meanwhile, a contributor to POLITICO magazine - Joshua Hammer - notes, after incredible expectations, many Africans have been underwhelmed by President Obama. It was probably inevitable, given Mr. Obama's domestic priorities - dealing with the Great Recession and winning passage of Obamacare; plus winding down the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan - not to mention an apparent reluctance to give his critics more ammo if the president seemed to be giving sub-Saharan Africa disproportionate attention. The irony is that President George W. Bush made a major commitment to Africa...

If that truly is Mrpizza's attitude, then he's not learned the lesson that Madison Avenue learned a number of years ago, that be the buyer white, black, brown, yellow, red, male, female, gay or straight, the color of their money is still GREEN.

The other thing that should make even a bigger difference to him as a brother in Christ, is that Jesus died on the cross for them too. ALL humans have souls and are as valuable to God as we, salvation is for all people. So who are we to say different? Christianity is growing like crazy in the continent of Africa. God is doing great things there as Lutheran, Methodist, Catholic, and Assembly of God churches are popping up all over that large continent with amazing growth, thus proving that Christ's salvation is for all mankind, it's not just for Europeans and Americans.

However, my guess is, that Mrpizza's yawning isn't racial, but more likely because it's "evil Liberal DEM" Chris Coons who's doing this, and not a TEA/G.O.P. politician.
