    Wie's career at a crossroads?

Michelle Wie is scheduled to play in this week's LPGA Championship at Bulle Rock in Havre de Grace. There's nothing unusual about that, except for the fact she pulled out of a tournament last week in South Carolina, saying she tweaked her wrist, one she had injured earlier...

    Delaware comes up big

It wasn't too long ago that University of Delaware fans were bemoaning the fact that the athletic program had gone downhill since joining the CAA. With the men's basketball program in the dregs (temporarily, I think) and the football team coming off its second straight mediocre season, there seemed to be reason for concern...

    Streaker!

Have you ever noticed that all the streakers at sporting events seem to be men? Why is that? Are women too smart to do something like that, or do men just tend to drink more (I'm assuming alcoholic libations have something to do with most streaking incidents)? At Thursday's Phillies-Brewers game, a man jumped over the left field wall (sans clothes) and trotted toward the infield where he was eventually apprehended by security and police officers and escorted off the field...

    Is Donovan Really a Leader?

Have you been keeping up with the Donovan McNabb reaction to the Eagles drafting of a quarterback in the 2nd round of the recent NFL draft? While much of the information we have on his reaction is second-hand, there has been enough indication that he really didn't take it all that well...

    Where are the Phillies going?

Your manager has a verbal dustup with an obnoxious Philly radio talk show host...then moves his number one starter to the bullpen. Is this the sign of a team with no direction and no hope for the season? Don't get me wrong...

    The Egerson situation

Now that the New York Times has run a story about University of Delaware student Marc Egerson, it is time to ask a few questions. To quickly summarize, the story said that former Glasgow High School basketball star Marc Egerson went to Georgetown on a basketball scholarship after leaving Glasgow High School and finishing up high school at Lutheran Christian Academy in Philadelphia...
