A Delaware native takes a few extra piercings for the team as his band debuts on national TV.
Keep a close eye on the club scene in the January 21st episode of NBC's TV series 'Deception.' Former Bear native and Middletown High School grad James Janocha appears with his band Twin Berlin as extras.
"It's something I never thought I'd be doing, especially at this stage, because we're still a young band, so I wasn't expecting to be put onto a national show like this," he said.
They didn't realize they had to get dolled up for it.
"And they said here's your trailer for the day, we're going to come get you for hair and makeup. And we just kind of looked at each other and said, 'Oh, I didn't know we were doing that,'" Janocha said.
"So we did the teased hair, they put the eyeliner, the nail polish, all the makeup, added more piercings to us," he said.
More piercings?
"They added in some lips rings and stuff for me. It was ridiculous. I went to see my girlfriend after, and she just kind of looked at me and goes 'You need to shower, this is so scary,'" he said.
See it all on Deception January 21 at 10 p.m. on NBC.
