An 11-year-old girl is hospitalized after she was hit by a car near New Castle. County Paramedics found the girl around 4:30 in the 300 block of Basin Road. She was taken to AI DuPont Children's Hospital to be treated for arm and internal injuries, and is listed in serious condition.
