Kowalko: PSC should nix Delmarva rate hike request State Representative John Kowalko hopes the state Public Service Commission nixes Delmarva Power's latest rate increase request. The Newark Democrat tells WDEL News a document the utility presented at the most recent evidentiary hearing was invalid. "A month-and-a-half-old settlement agreement that was reached by some of the parties. I objected to that--that settlement agreement is not accepted as done until the commission--the Public Service Commissioners--approve it, and hopefully, the commission, I mean the commissioners, will reject this," says Kowalko. Kowalko also claims the state Public Advocate's office isn't doing its job of standing up for Delmarva's customers. |
