Wilmington man busted after drug raid nets nearly $13K in heroin A Wilmington man is in jail after police found almost 13 thousand dollars' worth of heroin in his house. Wilmington police say officers with a search warrant raided Bernard Herring's house on North West Street Wednesday, after an investigation into reports of drug sales. Police say Herring, who as a convicted felon can't have firearms, was carrying a handgun. A search of the house turned up almost 13 hundred bags of heroin, 47 packages of pot and 2 digital scales. Herring was booked into the Howard Young Prison. |
