Cops find drugs in artificial leg, bust owner A Wilmington man faces drug charges after police found crack and marijuana--in his artificial leg. Officers responding to a 9-1-1 call about disorderly conduct found Jose Santiago standing in the middle of the road in the 27 hundred block of North Claymont Street around 1:15 Friday afternoon. Police say Santiago looked to be under the influence of a substance, and started yelling obscenities. The cops learned Santiago was wanted on several outstanding warrants, and when they searched him after his arrest, the officers found 2 and a half grams of crack and nearly 3 grams of pot hidden in Santiago's artificial leg. At last check, Santiago was at police headquarters awaiting arraignment. |
