AccuWeather predicting wicked nor'easters this winter

We could be in for a wicked winter.

AccuWeather meteorologist Dr. Joe Sobel says two jet streams are merging, similar to what happened when Superstorm Sandy turned westward back toward the coast.

"The trend that we're seeing is for these two jet streams to want to merge near or just off the Atlantic coast, and that tends to portend what could be a weather pattern that produces a number of storms, a number of nor'easters this winter," he said.

And he says that cold air building up in Canada could mean snow will come along with the storms.
