Delaware law mandates autism coverage
Delaware implements a new law today that mandates autism coverage.
The law requires providers cover behavior services, screening, diagnostic services and a variety of care, therapies and devices appropriate to people under the age of 21 who are diagnosed with autism.
There are caps and restrictions, and Autism Delaware expects some "growing pains" in the first years of the law.
