Dover probationer charged with gun, drug offenses

A Dover man is behind bars, charged with violating probation by having a gun and ammunition in his house, and heroin in his car.

Police say Franklin Harrison allowed troopers to search his house on South State Street Wednesday night, and the cops found a loaded gun and two magazines of bullets in the bedroom.

A search of Harrison's car turned up 12 packets of heroin and more than $600 in suspected drug money.

Harrison's being held at the Vaughn Correctional Center.
