Motorists feeling deep pain at the pump After holding steady at the start of the year, gas prices rise dramatically. Delaware drivers felt the pain by seeing gas prices jump 2 more cents over the weekend to an average of $3.60 a gallon. That's a 20 cent rise over the last week, according to Triple A Mid Atlantic. Spokeswoman Jana Tidwell says the biggest factor is the cost of crude oil, which rallied to near $100 a barrel. She says until oil prices turn around, gas prices will likely continue to rise. |
