VIDEO: St. Andrew's rolls past Wilmington Friends
St. Andrew's Benjamin Bentil finished with 14 points to lead the Cardinals to a 59-51 victory over Friends.
Friends got off to a quick start and led though the 1st quarter 14-13, backed by a strong performance by Larenz Thurman, who led the Quakers in scoring with 21 points.
However, the Cardinals would take control in the second period scoring 20 points with good performances by Evan Thomas 19 and Austin Tilghman 11.
Friends would play competitive in the fourth quarter outscoring St Andrew's by nine points but the Cardinals would win their 4th consecutive game and cruise to 14-3 while Friends fell to 12-6.
