See rare and history stamps at show Saturday
If you're interested in checking out rare and historic stamps of several varieties, you might consider visiting the Brandywine Valley Stamp Club's annual show Saturday.
Bob Rufe, president of the Brandywine Valley Stamp club, says you can see "Inverted Jenny," a highly-valued misprint created after an operator's error 1918.
"The operator put the back into the machine to print the blue plane, he managed to turn the sheet around and so the plane appears to be upside-down while the frame is right-side up," Rufe says.
The show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Nur Temple near the intersection of Routes 13 and 40.
