NASA administrator speaks at DSU commencement

NASA Administrator Charles Frank Bolden Jr. spoke at Delaware State University's 122nd commencement.

Bolden became NASA administrator in 2009 after a 34-year career with the Marine Corps and is the first African American to serve as the administrator of NASA. Bolden was a member of the astronaut corps for 14 years while serving as a Marine, and he traveled aboard the space shuttle on four missions between 1986 and 1994.

The historically black college held graduation ceremonies at its Alumni Stadium in Dover.
