Ex-MLB manager Dallas Green signing book in Rehoboth

Former major league baseball manager Dallas Green is signing his new autobiography at a Rehoboth Beach bookstore.

Green, who led the Philadelphia Phillies to the 1980 World Series, is scheduled to appear at 11 a.m. Saturday at Browseabout Books.

He'll be signing his new book, "The Mouth That Roared - My Six Outspoken Decades in Baseball."

Green, a Delaware native, managed the Phillies, the New York Yankees and New York Mets and was also general manager of the Chicago Cubs.

His 9-year-old granddaughter, Christina-Taylor Green, was killed in a January 2011 in a Tucson shooting that critically wounded former Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
