AG Beau Biden returns to Delaware on Air Force Two

Attorney General Beau Biden returned to Delaware on Thursday along with his father, Vice President Joe Biden, after he underwent a medical procedure at a Houston cancer center.

NBC 10's Tim Furlong reports Beau Biden, 44, arrived at his father's home in Greenville around 4 p.m. He has been staying at the vice president's house while his own home undergoes renovations.

At 10:53 a.m., Biden tweeted "On our way home! Can't wait to get back. Thank you, Houston." The message also included a picture of his wife Hallie and his parents.

The Biden family traveled to New Castle Airport on Air Force Two, which landed in Delaware around 3:15 p.m.

Attorney General Biden was admitted to the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center on Tuesday after he experienced weakness and disorientation during a vacation in Indiana last week.

He was hospitalized about two weeks after emergency dispatchers received a call from the vice president's home, regarding a report of a possible stroke.

Beau Biden became Attorney General in 2007 and suffered a minor stroke in 2010.
