Two arrested at Maryland Park Apartments

County police arrest a man who was riding a dirt bike in a reckless manner.

Police say, they responded to the 700 block of Robinson Lane in the Maryland Park Apartment complex, and found Alvin Esquilin on the bike.

Police say, they attempted to stop Esquilin Friday night but the subject kept riding and eventually walked away from the officer.

Police say, Esquilin continued to ignore police commands, but troopers were able to detain the 36-year-old.

Police say, a 16-year-old male then took the bike and placed it inside an apartment. When police tried to take the teen into custody, he resisted arrest and kicked at officers in the patrol car.

Police say, Esquilin was charged with disregarding a police officer’s signal, hindering prosecution, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned and released on $4,100 unsecured bail.

The teenager was charged with tampering with physical evidence, offensive touching, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned and released on $4,200 unsecured bail.
