Harley crash critically injures PA man

State Troopers are investigating an early morning motorcycle crash in Newark which places the rider in the hospital.

Police say 49-year-old Troy Schroeder, of Landenberg, Pennsylvania, was riding his 1998 Harley north on Salem Church Road at 5:19 Saturday morning when his bike drifted into the southbound lane.

Investigators say Schroeder struck the median as he attempted to move his motorcycle back into the northbound lane and was ejected from the Harley.

Schroeder was transported by ambulance to Christiana Hospital where he was admitted in critical condition.
