VIDEO: Archmere volleyball wins 'Serve for the Cure' match

On a night dedicated to a cancer charity, Archmere volleyball defeated St. Elizabeth in straight sets during the 7th annual 'Serve for the Cure".

Both teams sported pink and black jerseys on a night where proceeds from auctions went to the Helen F. Graham Cancer and Research Institute. The schools have raised nearly $10,000 for the cause.

On the court, the Auks quickly took care of the Vikings, never trailing in a match that was only tied at 1-1 in both the first and third sets.

After taking the first set 25-15, the Auks scored the first six points of the second set on the strength of two kills by sophomore Justine Pantaleo who finished with six on the evening. Later in the set senior Madeline Kelly posted three straight aces as they claimed a 25-11 set.

Kaylie LeClere's service winner on match point ended a 25-13 frame, pushing the Auks to 6-3 on the year.

Kelly's 7 kills and six digs both led the Auks.

Sabrina Hackendorn had 14 digs and 6 kills for the Vikings (4-5).
