VIDEO: McKean blanks Conrad on delayed Homecoming Night

McKean quarterback Darius Jones threw for, ran for, and ran back an interception for a touchdown in a 42-0 Homecoming victory over Conrad Monday night.

The Highlanders took an 8-0 lead after the opening quarter on the strength of a 60-yard touchdown run by Jaleel Hayward and a two-point conversion run.

Jones then did his "hat trick" in the second quarter, first scoring on a 14-yard read option keeper to make the score 16-0 after another two-point play. Conrad then tossed an interception to him, which the senior returned 79-yards to make the score 22-0.

His final score of the half came with just 33 seconds remaining, when he connected with Andre Henson on a 55-yard touchdown pass, to give McKean the 30-0 lead.

Heyward and Louis Hall completed the scoring with 2nd half touchdown runs, as McKean improved to 4-2 on the season. Conrad dropped to 2-4.
