VIDEO: The Middletown Streak Continues After Win Over A.I.
Middletown gains another victory after facing A.I. duPont in their Homecoming game Friday night.
Darius Wade connected with Chris Godwin first touchdown of the game. Next, Wade would choose the option play to run the ball in for another touchdown. Dennis Berger would also get in on the Cavaliers action. His score brought the Cavaliers to a 21 - 0 start in the first quarter over the tigers.
In the second quarter Middletown kept their momentum going. Wade hooked up with Garrett Maniatis for two scores. Godwin also returned a punt to score for the Cavaliers, which was followed up by a two point conversion. The score was 36-0.
Quadree Henderson scored the first 6 points for the A.I. duPont Tigers. The Tigers rallied to score another 6 points, but the Cavaliers scored 50 points and won the game.
The final score was 50 - 13.
Middletown's record advances to 7 - 0.
A.I. duPont's record drops to 4 - 3.
