3 firefighters hurt battling Hartly house fire

Three firefighters are hurt battling a house fire in Hartly.

The blaze broke out Friday afternoon in the 3,000-block of Hourglass Road.

Two firefighters were injured during a partial collapse, while a third who was part of the rescue effort also was injured according to the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office.

They were taken to Kent General Hospital, and their injuries were described as minor.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
