Middletown postpones council elections

Middletown has announced the election for town council on Monday has been postponed for three weeks because of anticipated snowfall and the state of emergency declared in Delaware.

The election will occur between 12 p.m. and 8 p.m. on March 24.

Four candidates are running for three spots on council. Vice-mayor James Reynolds and council members Robin Burgess and Robert McGhee are seeking reelection. Richard Catterton is also seeking a seat. Terms are for two-years.
