Entrepreneurs and small business start-ups have a new place to get going in the middle of it all.

Dr. Suzanne Kloud owns a chiropractic business on the 700 block of North Market Street. But now she's turned the second floor of her building into a coworking space.

"Small and intimate, it will be turnkey, where people can start an office with their own private suite and a snack room. They have their own 42-inch TV," says Dr. Kloud.

Rent for an office starts at $575/month with flexible terms. If all you need is a desk, they've got that too.

Kristin Marinelli, who works in insurance sales, is the first tenant.

"It's attractive, it's comfortable, and it suits the type of work I do," says Marinelli.

"Plans to stick around?" I asked her.

"I'm going to stay here. I'm going to support Wilmington," says Marinelli.

The coworking space was made possible in part by a $25,000 grant from the Downtown Visions Main Street Facade Improvement Program.
