Galvis diagnosis confirmed...back fracture
By Don Voltz

Doctors in New York have confirmed that Freddy Galvis has a pars fracture in his lower back.

That means the rookie infielder will be in a brace for the next three weeks.

Galvis' L45 vertebrae is fractured.

It's not clear how long he'll be out but Phillies officials anticipate it will probably be a significant amount of time.
