More than 20,000 people are expected to turn out for the 63rd Delmarva Chicken Festival in Salisbury, Maryland Friday and Saturday.

Connie Parvis, the director of education for Delmarva Poultry Industry, Incorporated, says the annual highlight is the 10 foot frying pan with an 8 foot handle.

Parvis says the pan is pretty easy to use despite its size.

"The pan is built with four sections so that makes it a little easier to control, and each section has its own heat controls, so you can cook one section at time, or you can fill all four," says Parvis.

Parvis says the result is some pretty delicious chicken.

Among the highlights of the festival are carnival rides, baby chicks, arts and crafts, a car show and lots of events revolving around...what else?...chicken.

The event runs Friday and Saturday and admission is free.
