Wilmington police have arrested a teenager who's connected with a shooting that wounded two people early Friday morning.

Police say 16-year-old Anthony Burgos was one of two suspects who allegedly held up a pair of victims at gunpoint on the 600-block of North Jefferson Street and shot them after they fled.

Police say Burgos was arrested Friday morning after executing a search warrant on the 500 block of North Washington Street where they also seized 56 bags of cocaine.

Burgos faces two charges of first-degree assault, two counts of first-degree attempted robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and second-degree conspiracy. He was a convicted felon on probation at the time of the alleged crime.
