Officers assist in fire rescue
The heroism of two Wilmington police officers save an 86 year-old woman from a fire.
Officers found the elderly victim in her burning home in the 16-hundred block of West 4th Street Saturday night.
Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control, while EMS treated the victim for smoke inhalation.
The Wilmington Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
