Ice Cream Festival returns this weekend

A local tradition is back this weekend.
The Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Festival - a summer family favorite which fell victim to budget cuts a few years ago - is returning to Rockwood Park with some help from event organizer Barry Schlecker.

With six dairies, Dozens of restaurants and retailers and live music, the choices are vast.

The festival is open 10am to 6pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.
Admission is $5 for adults and just $1 for kids 12 and under.
Some of the proceeds will benefit the historic Rockwood Mansion.
