Hickman holds lead at DSGA Amateur

Chris Hickman fired a 2-over 73, but still lead by 3 shots heading into the final round of the Delaware State Golf Association Amateur Championship at Frog Hollow in Middletown.

The rising East Tennessee State freshman finished the first three rounds at 4-under 209 to hold the 3-shot lead over the host course's P.J. Tighe who joined 10th place Andrew Baldo of Hartefeld National as the only players to shoot par-71 Tuesday.

Jerry Temple Jr.'s 72 kept him in contention at 213, 4 shots behind Hickman. Bob Bechtold of Loch Nairn is in 4th place, 8 shots off the pace.

The 4th and final round will be played Wednesday with the leaders teeing off last at 10:33am.
