Sobriety checkpoints to set up in Newport

Just one DUI checkpoint is scheduled for this weekend in Delaware, and it will take place this evening in Newport.
It's part of the state's Checkpoint Strikeforce, a regional sobriety checkpoint campaign aimed at arresting DUI and drug offenders as well as deterring offenders through high visibility enforcement.
The six month long effort runs through New Year's Eve.
