To get those safer neighborhoods, Williams tells the clergy he will continue to walk the streets, so that people don't have to be afraid.
"I am coming after you, if you're carrying narcotics and firearms. I'm not hugging thugs. I'm not giving bouquet of roses to murderers. I am going after violent offenders with a vigor," promises Williams.

Williams, a spiritual man himself, says he will work to accomplish all that the city needs by curbing crime, keeping kids in school, and tightening the purse-strings.
He says he'll work to unite communities and won't be afraid to ask the clergy for advice.
"You're looking at a person, who will lead you into the 21st century with safe streets, a balanced budget; we will work on the dropout rate, and will bring true economic development," Williams says.
