Bacteria is found in the ocean at Rehoboth Beach.

DNREC sampled water from Rehoboth Avenue and found the water doesn't meet federal Environmental Protection Agency's beach water quality criteria.

DNREC says the bacteria is due to the Army Corp of Engineers' cleaning of a storm water outfall pipe.

The agency will continue to sample the water until its up to par.

Rehoboth Beach has been ranked among the top cleanest beaches in the country.
