Wilmington PD looking for city shooter
By Don Voltz

Wilmington Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who fired shots in the 400 block of East 9th Street around 6:45 Wednesday evening.

Police say surveillance video shows two separate groups of males coming together at an intersection and exchanging words.

The two groups began to separate and the surveillance footage shows a black male in a gray, hooded sweatshirt reach into his waistband and pull out a gun.

The man began to fire shots, narrowly missing a small child who was standing nearby.

No one was reported hit by the gunfire.
