Amazon ships its first package out of new Middletown facility
Amazon's massive new warehouse in Middletown is up and running.
The fulfillment center shipped its first package, Season 11 of "American Idol Hits," to a customer in Wisconsin Wednesday.
The center employs 330 people in Delaware and expects to hire more as the holiday season gets underway.
The facility is Amazon's second in Delaware. They have a much smaller facility in New Castle.
