Hicks Anderson Center up for major renovation
Updated Tuesday, October 16, 2012 - 10:34am
The William Hicks Anderson Community Center in West Center City could be getting a much-needed facelift.
Mayor Baker is proposing nearly one-million dollars to upgrade the city-owned recreational facility. He says the renovations are "long overdue." Upgrades would include several new HVAC systems, a new roof, new lighting, and upgraded locker rooms and kitchens.
The money for the rehab would come from unused capital funds.
