Two sought in connection with University Plaza armed rob attempt
State Police are asking for the public's help finding a man and a woman who tried to rob a man in the University Plaza Shopping Center parking lot.
Police say the woman approached the victim outside Boston Market around 9:15 Sunday night, saying she'd been abandoned, and asking for money.
The man then ran out of some nearby woods, holding a knife on the victim and demanding money.
The victim was wounded in the upper body during the ensuing fight, and the suspects left empty-handed.
The victim was treated and released from Christiana Hospital, and anyone who knows anything about the crime can call Troop 2 or Crimestoppers.
