Updated Wednesday, October 17, 2012 - 12:30pm
County police have charged a Wilmington man with several robberies of pizza delivery drivers and one holdup at a shopping center.
Police say Tyrek Thomas tried to run out of his North Tatnall Street house when U.S. marshals came knocking Monday morning, but he didn't get away.
Thomas is accused of robbing pizza delivery drivers at three apartment complexes, and holding up several businesses in the Brookside Shopping Center, part of a string of robberies that began in August.
Thomas was also wanted by Newark and state police for several robberies in their jurisdictions.
He's being held at the Howard Young Prison in lieu of bail and is under orders to stay away from his victims.
