VIDEO: Highlights of St. Marks victory over Middletown

Mackenzie Naughton scores twice for the Spartans in route to a 4-2 victory over Middletown.

The Cavaliers got an early goal from John Hartwell in the opening minutes giving them early momentum. However junior Jeff Richards had many opportunities in the 1st half for the Spartans, he finally converted on a free kick 30 yards away that beat the goalie. A late goal by Naughton extended the lead to 2-1 at half time.

Middletown tied it following a Spartan turnover in their own zone, Geovanni Garcia took advantage with a quick spin and shoot. St. Mark's got the response they wanted in the last 5 minutes with a go-ahead goal by Theodore Barnett and a final strike from Naughton again to take the victory.

St. Marks out-shot Middletown 14-8, they move to 7-5-1 and play William Penn Saturday at 2 p.m. The Cavaliers fall to 5-10 in their final game this season.
