Tips from Delaware's Crime Stoppers network aid police in putting an end to a marijuana growing operation.
Newark police searched the home of 57-year-old Newark woman Judith McDonald last Wednesday after a two-month investigation. During the search, police found 51 marijuana plants, along with 91 grams of finished product, and growing equipment, including grow lights, fans, a ventilation system and a watering system.
McDonald was formally charged and arraigned yesterday (Wednesday), but was released on a $7,000 unsecured bond.
