Neighborhood police find drugs, gun
While assisting the city's Child Development Community Police program, officers discovered about two ounces of crack cocaine outside a vacant property in the 700 block of East 10th Street.
Behind a nearby vacant property officers also found a semi automatic handgun.
Police are investigating whether the gun is connected to a Friday night homicide at 10th and Bennett.
