Delawareans volunteering in hard-hit areas of New York and New Jersey will hopefully still have a way to vote Tuesday.

State Elections Commissioner Elaine Manlove is working vigorously on it.

"Some can vote electronically, and we're trying to facilitate the easiest way to make that happen. I don't know that they all have connectivity so I'm trying to drill down into this to see what we can do. We have connectivity for military and overseas voters; we'd like to use the same technology for these voters that are essentially deployed, they may not all be military, so we're working through the issues with that right now," says Manlove.

Manlove says if the technology's there, and by law, we can do it, there's no reason not to.

She says this is definitely the first time something like this has ever happened.
