Gas prices continue to fall for fourth straight week
By Tom Lehman

Delaware drivers saw another drop in the cost of fueling up at the pump last week as the national average of the cost of a gallon of gasoline fell for the fourth straight week.

Triple A Mid Atlantic reports the cost of a gallon of unleaded regular dropped 2 cents over the weekend to a statewide average of $3.45.

Auto Club spokeswoman Jana Tidwell says the recent decline is good news for drivers who have been paying the highest calendar day price since August.

She says the national average for a price of gas could fall to between $3.25 and $3.40 per gallon in time for Thanksgiving and gas prices could continue to fall further by the end of the year.
