About 55 Widener University Law School students chipped in to help this past weekend with the post-Hurricane Sandy cleanup in Atlantic City.

One of those students, Marta Skuza, tells WDEL News the damage was about as bad as she and her fellow students expected.

"We knew that we were heading to a disaster zone that we knew was gonna be bad, and y'know, I think it just really hit home, and the moment you got there, you see businesses are closed, you see homes with piles of trash in front of their lawns because they had to rip out everything--floors, carpets, walls...."

Skuza says her group worked at the Atlantic City Rescue Mission, and helped clean up several Sandy-damaged homes.
