VIDEO: Highlights of St. Mark's vs. Concord plus Lauren Talley on season

Lauren Talley recorded 16 kills and 12 digs as No. 1 St. Mark's recovered from their only loss of the season to win the 3rd place match over Concord in the DIAA State Volleyball Tournament.

The Spartans started slowly, dropping the opening set 25-23 to the only public high school to make the Final Four.

The second set was much stronger, as four Talley kills helped push a set-closing 12-4 run in a 25-12 victory, knotting the match at a set a piece.

In the race to 15 deciding set, Concord tied the match at 9, but St. Mark's would take six of the last eight points to claim third place.

Abbie Mirabella recorded 14 kills and 9 digs for last year's state champions, who lost a tough 5-set semifinal match to Ursuline last Thursday. Kristen Brooks had 10 kills and 7 digs, while Abigail Dischert contributed 10 kills for Concord.
