Delaware's teachers' union has a new Executive Director.
The Delaware State Education Association Tuesday named Jeff Taschner to the position.
Taschner, who's been with the DSEA for 12 years, replaces Howard Weinberg, who's retiring after 33 years with the union.
Prior to joining the DSEA, Taschner was policy advisor to the state Secretary of Public Safety and a deputy AG in the state Justice Department.
