Bridgeville man charged w/ raping 11-year-old relative
State Police have charged a Bridgeville man with raping an 11-year-old relative over a one-year period.
55-year-old Benjamin Charleston Jr. was arrested Wednesday and charged with 18 counts of rape and other offenses. He is being held on more than $460,000 bail.
Troopers say the child reported the alleged abuse to family members after Charleston was asked to leave their home, where he had been living.
