Blue Hens face Pitt at MSG
The Delaware men's basketball team will try to come away from Madison Square Garden with a consolation prize...a win in the consolation game of the NIT Season Tipoff.
The Blue Hens, who fell to Kansas State in the semi-finals on Wednesday night by just 3 points, will take on Pitt at 2:30 this afternoon.
It's the first time Delaware has ever played Pitt and the Blue Hens will be looking for their first win ever over a Big East team...they are 0-9, with 6 of those losses against Villanova.
Delaware is 2-2...the Panthers are 4-1 after losing to 4th-ranked Michigan in the other semi-final game.
